Here’s the brief schedule of events:

Dyeing the Chicago River
Mar 12th, 2011 10:00am
Can be best viewed from the East side of the Michigan Ave bridge, the West side of the Columbus Dr bridge or upper and lower Wacker Drive between Michigan Ave and Columbus Dr.

2011 Parade
Mar 12th, 2011 Noon
The parade is the Saturday before the actual calendar date of Saint Patrick’s Day in order to allow families to participate in the festivities without having to remove their children from school.
The parade starts at Balbo and Columbus and goes north on Columbus Drive to E Monroe Dr.

Certainly, St. Patrick’s Day is still on March 17th !
